T-Levels

T-Levels

T-Levels

Introduced in 2020 to upskill the workforce, T Levels are equivalent to 3 A Levels with a T Level Distinction worth the same as three A Levels at A*.  Recognised by universities so you can still apply for University.

How are they taught? 

They are a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on the job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days).

What courses are on offer?

Courses are designed by industry to meet their needs, please see below for local T Level providers and courses.

What grades are required for T-Level entry?

Pupils generally need 5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English, Mathematics and possibly Science.
